Building control Surveyor / Potential partner

The opportunity
We are looking to recruit a senior building control surveyor to build on our company's success and grow the business into the future.
For the right person this is not just another job; this is an exciting opportunity within a progressive company, which, within time, could lead to full partnership status with an equitable stake in the company.

The role
Initially assisting the partners in delivering building control services across all aspects of the business you will be expected to develop and expand your own portfolio of clients and projects.

The candidate
Currently working at senior level in building control, with appropriate professional qualifications and strong client links, you should have the following essential skills and attributes:

   - Commercially aware
   - Ambition and drive
   - Excellent leader

As well as being a team player able to see the bigger picture and communicate at all levels you need to be capable of understanding clients’ commercial issues as well as legislative requirements.

Your strength will be not in dealing with the black and white decisions but in the expert handling of the grey areas in a compliant but client orientated manner.

The company
Located in Derby. MFA building control is an established corporate approved inspector, being in existence for over 10 years, growing from an individual practise to its current size of 3 professional partners supported by a team of surveyors and backroorn staff.

Seen as the lead approved inspector in Derbyshire and the surrounding areas with a strong established client base, IVIFA has an interesting and varied workload covering the full spectrum of building works, from domestic to multi-million pound contracts.
