From the 6th of November 2026 the Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government has introduced new fees called “The Building (Local Authority Charges and Amendments Relating to Charging) (England) Regulations 2026”. This will mean that additional charges will be made in relation to each project including the submission of new applications, amendments and other statutory functions, each Local Government area can set their own fees, which will need to be paid up-front before notices can be processed. Our team will advise Clients of the costs and will process them on the applicants behalf.
